High Mast Lights: The Preferred Lighting Solution for Large Outdoor Areas
High mast lights are special lighting equipment for large venues, with pole heights generally ranging from 15 meters to 40 meters. They are divided into lifting type and fixed type. Equipped with multiple LED floodlights on the top lamp panel, they deliver wide and even illumination, and are widely used in urban squares, interchange hubs, parking lots, stadiums, port yards and logistics parks.
The lamp pole is usually made of high-quality Q235 steel plate by bending and welding, adopting a tapered plug-in structure with high overall strength and strong wind resistance. The surface is treated with hot-dip galvanizing plus electrostatic powder coating for double anti-corrosion, which resists rust and aging. It can adapt to harsh outdoor conditions such as coastal salt spray, heavy rain and sand, and enjoys a long service life. The lifting model is built with an electric winch system. The lamp panel can be lowered to a low position smoothly, so there is no need for aerial work vehicles when maintaining light sources and drivers, bringing convenient and safe maintenance. It is widely adopted in municipal projects.
Modern mainstream high mast lights adopt high-efficiency LED light sources, featuring soft and uniform light with few dark zones. They can be equipped with time control, light control or intelligent dimming modules to adjust brightness as needed and cut long-term power costs. The angles of lamps on the panel can be customized. Professional lighting distribution design can be carried out according to site shape and illuminance requirements to balance lighting performance and anti-glare effect.
